2. Customs inspection requirements


1. Document review


Before implementing the on-site inspection, the customs shall review the necessary accompanying documents such as the declaration form, the contract and the product quality certificate issued by the manufacturer. Highlight the following:

 

(1) The product quality certificate should indicate: manufacturer, number/weight, size, grade and its corresponding physical and chemical indicators, implementation standards (or technical requirements agreed by both parties) and other information.

 

(2) The corresponding commodity code and declaration elements should meet the relevant requirements, and the information provided by the relevant accompanying documents should be consistent.

 

2. Inspection basis


The customs inspection is based on the laws and regulations, international standards and industry standards of the corresponding importing country or region. If the technical requirements agreed by both parties in a trade contract are higher than the laws and regulations, international standards and industry standards of the importing country or region, the technical requirements agreed by both parties shall be allow.
